Platinum Business magzine is very pleased to announce a new partnership with active Sussex
Active Sussex will be providing monthly editorial pieces for the magazine, keeping the business community abreast of local sporting successes, national to local campaigns and our upcoming events including; the Sussex School Games, the Parallel Youth Games and the much-anticipated annual Sussex Sports Awards.
Laurence Elphick, formerly Managing Director of Juice 107.2 and now Head of Sport at Platinum is a long-time supporter of Active Sussex and was instrumental in setting up the partnership, which sees Platinum Business Magazine sponsoring the Young Sports Personality of the Year award at the 2018 Sussex Sports Awards.
Talking about the partnership, Laurence said, “As Editor of Platinum Sport I saw an opportunity to link up with the great work being done by Active Sussex across the county to encourage local people to take up physical activity and sport.
“For our readership, sport and activity are an important part of their lives, whether they regularly watch sport, volunteer in the community or are actively running marathons, doing charity cycles or out at the golf course.
“We all know that physical activity is great for our mental wellbeing and can boost our performance in the workplace – it’s a no brainer that our productive business community is interested in being more active and it is my hope that this partnership will inspire them to engage with and support Sussex sport!”
We look forward to working with Sadie Mason and the team over the coming months.
